Help us build something worth working for.
Too many aged care roles can feel like a rush from one unfamiliar client to the next, without enough continuity to do the job properly. Good people can burn out when they are not given the time, support or consistency to deliver the care they came into the industry to provide.
We are building this from scratch, which means we get to decide how it works. If you have opinions about how aged care should be done, we would genuinely like to hear them.

Worth knowing up front
We employ our workers directly. You are not a contractor chasing your own shifts on somebody's app.
Some home care models use contractor or marketplace arrangements where workers may find their own clients, negotiate rates and carry more of the administration and risk. That suits some people. If it does not suit you, that is exactly why we are doing it differently.
Why work with us
Six things we have decided on already.
You are employed, not brokered
Some home care models use marketplace or contractor arrangements. We employ our home care workers directly, with the security and structure that comes with it.
The same clients, not a random roster
We build rosters around continuity, because care works better when you know someone. You will not spend your week introducing yourself.
Trained properly before you start
Competency-based training and sign-off before you are working alone. Nobody gets sent into a situation they have not been prepared for.
Clinical support behind you
Registered nursing oversight and care management sit behind every plan. When something is outside your scope, there is someone to call.
Small enough that you are heard
You will know the people making decisions, and they will know your name. If something is not working, you can say so and it can actually change.
Not a startup gamble
Home care is a new division, not a new organisation. SCL Support Services has been a registered NDIS provider supporting people here since 2018.
Roles we are building
Who we are looking for.

Home care workers
Personal care, respite, domestic assistance and social support. The core of what we do, and the role most people will meet us through.
What we are looking for
Relevant qualifications and experience matter, particularly for personal care. Warmth, reliability and respect matter just as much.

Care partners
Care planning, budget oversight, and being the steady point of contact for clients and families.
What we are looking for
Someone organised who can hold a difficult conversation kindly, and who understands that a budget is somebody’s actual care.

Nursing and clinical
Registered and enrolled nursing, plus the clinical governance behind every care plan.
What we are looking for
Current registration, and an interest in community-based clinical work rather than a ward.
What matters to us
Qualifications matter. So do these.
We can teach our systems and help people build skills. We cannot teach genuine care, reliability or respect, so those qualities matter just as much as qualifications.
- You treat people’s homes as their homes, not your workplace
- You turn up when you said you would
- You say something when a client’s situation changes, rather than assuming someone else noticed
- You would want your own family looked after this way
Get in early
We are not advertising specific vacancies yet.
We are recruiting ahead of launch rather than scrambling afterwards. Send us your details and we will be in touch as roles open — and the people who join early will have a real hand in shaping how this works.
Already work in aged care and want to talk about how we are approaching it? That is a conversation we would happily have too.
