About us
We built the service we wished our own family had.
SCL Home Care exists because of what happened when our own family needed care and found the system harder to navigate than the situation that put us there.
That experience became SCL Support Services, a registered NDIS provider that has supported people across the Coffs Coast since 2018. SCL Home Care is the same family, the same organisation and the same standard, now turned toward helping people age well at home.
Our mission
To help people stay in their own home, on their own terms, for as long as that is what they want.
Where we started
It started at a kitchen table.
SCL began because of our own family's experience of the care system. We saw what genuinely good support looked like, and just as clearly, where the system let people down.
What started small has grown into a team supporting people across the Coffs Coast, with the organisation continuing to grow. The scale changed. What sits behind it did not.
What makes us different
Four things we would want to know if we were choosing.
We employ our own workers
Not an agency roster. The person who comes on Thursday should be the same person who came last Thursday, and should already know how you take your tea.

SCL Support Services has been a registered NDIS provider supporting people across the Coffs Coast since 2018. Home care is a new division, not a new organisation.
We publish our prices
Every service, every rate, including after-hours and weekends. You should not have to ask what something costs.
We will tell you if we are not right for you
If another provider suits your situation better, we will say so. We would rather be useful than be chosen.

No separate entry, exit or package management charges. Our full price list is published openly, and prices are agreed in writing before anything is charged.

We explain the system in plain language so you can make your own decisions — including the decision to go somewhere else.

Care management behind every ongoing plan, with registered nursing support when a person’s needs require it.
